Police investigation into car dealership on outskirts of Harlow

A CAR dealership which was based on the outskirts of Harlow has been accused of scamming over £740,000 from customers reports ITV.

Happier Cars promises to sell your car for a commission.

Happier Cars was based at Burrs Farm off Foster Street close to Old Harlow.

But an ITV News investigation has found at least 50 people have been left without their cars or their money.

The investigation, by ITV News Reporter Kaf Okpattah, also found evidence of possible illegal trading and the sale of stolen cars.

Through Companies house it is possible to check for free a company's records such as financial performance and directors. It isn't perfect but if a company looks iffy then don't deal with them, especially if you are paying up front.
