WE visited the Potter Street War Memorial in order to observe the two minutes silence to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

We are thinking of those 33 men of Harlow who left the town to serve and never came back.

We think of their families.

We also think of those men and women, who having served, decided to build a new life in a new town.
