Dispersal order in place across Harlow following car meet concerns
Crime / Sat 24th May 2025 at 11:05pm
OFFICERS working to keep the public safe have put in place a dispersal order across Harlow and the Epping Forest districts.
It’s in place until 6am on Sunday (25 May) as part of our response to a large car cruise meet in the Loughton area which has led to significant concerns over driving behaviour on our roads.

This includes reports of dangerous manoeuvres and driving at excess speed, which will not be tolerated.
This order, which covers the large area shown in the map, gives officers the powers to direct people suspected of being involved in this activity to leave the area or face arrest, and not return to the area for 48 hours.
Officers are out in key locations across both districts to enforce the order and keep the public safe.
We won’t tolerate dangerous driving which puts lives at risk.
Police don't care, been reporting antisocial driving outside my work for years
