This bank holiday weekend, Newhall Rangers YFC, based in Harlow, brought home an impressive amount of silverware from the Hatfield Broad Oak Summer Tournament 2025.
The club’s Under-7s were a standout success, going unbeaten throughout the competition without conceding a single goal. After topping their group, the young team edged past Langley Colts with a narrow 1–0 win in a tense semi-final, before repeating the scoreline in the final against Billericay Town to lift the KNVB Cup. It marks a memorable first trophy for the budding footballers – and hopefully the first of many.

Meanwhile, the Under-10s also impressed, triumphing in the Plate Competition. After a determined group stage performance, they overcame Bishop’s Stortford Town in a tightly contested final, which was ultimately decided by a dramatic penalty shootout.

Congratulations to all the players and coaches, and a huge thank you to Hatfield Broad Oak for hosting a fantastic tournament!
