THERE is a new team associated with Harlow Town FC – they are Harlow Town Pirates Walking Football Club.
Formerly known as Paringdon Pirates, the Club has recently sailed to the Harlow Arena in The Pinnacles and changed their name.

The Club is open to men of 50 years and over and all women (but not juniors). It holds training sessions at the Harlow Arena on Mondays from 17.00 to 18.30 and Fridays from 12.15 to 13.45, which are open to both men and women.

There is also a women’s only session at Church Langley School on Thursdays from 19.00-20.00.
Players of all fitness levels and abilities are welcome to train with the Club and it is a great way to make friends and keep fit.
Games are played 6-a-side on a pitch slightly smaller than a quarter of a full-size football pitch, with smaller goals and each match lasts 10 minutes. Moulded rubber studded boots must be worn.
Both men and women play competitively and successfully in the Essex Walking Football League. There are three Men’s teams, one each in the 60-64 category playing in Division 1; the 65-69 age group playing in Division 2; and the 70+ playing in Division 1.
There are two Women’s teams, one playing in the Premiere League and one in the Championship. The competitive season runs from March to October each year with an August break.
If you are interested in playing, please look at the Club’s web site
