Essex Police issue appeal over report of “firearm reportedly shot” in The Stow

ESSEX Police are asking for anyone with video or CCTV of a firearm reportedly shot in Harlow yesterday to send us their footage.
A spokesperson said: “We launched an investigation into the firearm discharge in the area of The Stow on Saturday 14 June, between 3.45pm and 4pm.

Officers and police dogs searched the area, with support from the National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter.
We remain in the area while we conduct further enquires, and now want anyone with video footage that may help us to send it in via this link: https://kep.uk.evidence.com/axon/community-request/public/stow
“We have had no reports of any injuries, and our investigation is ongoing”.
Acting Inspector Paul Marks said: “The public have already been very supportive after our appeal for information on Saturday.
“While we explore further lines of enquiry, we’ve also opened an online portal to make it easy for anyone to send us video footage that may help.
“I would encourage everyone to think about what they saw and heard Saturday afternoon, and to share any information with our detectives.”
