ST Clare Hospice is calling on the local community to gather their friends and family, lace up their trainers, and get ready for a memorable night of joy and laughter – all while raising money to fund essential services for St Clare Hospice. The hospice’s much-loved Night Walk is returning, and this year it is in a brand-new location in Epping!

The 5-mile charity sponsored walk will take place on Saturday, 27th September, starting and finishing at Epping St John’s School, where parking will be available. The event begins at 9pm and will guide walkers along a lively and atmospheric route through the charming streets of Epping’s historic market town.

Walkers will enjoy a complimentary drink as part of the evening’s experience and everyone talking part will also receive a St Clare branded t-shirt, as well as an exclusive Night Walk finisher’s medal as a token of appreciation for their support.

“This is more than just a walk – it’s a celebration of community, friendship, and the incredible work of St Clare Hospice,” said Rosie Brewer, Events Relationship Fundraiser at St Clare Hospice. “It’s going to be a night to remember, and every step helps us continue to be there for local families when they need us most.”

Whether walkers are talking part in memory of a loved one or simply seeking a fun night out with friends, the event is open to everyone aged 12 and over. For those who enjoy a touch of sparkle, fancy dress is warmly encouraged. Flashing and glow-in-the-dark accessories will be available to buy on the night, so walkers can fully embrace the vibrant atmosphere.

Entry cost is £20 per ticket and a group ticket (4 walkers) is £72. Please note that children between the ages of 12 and 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
