Do Sumners and Katherines not count?
Is Bush Fair a crime-free zone? I wish!!
Instead of "look at me" policing, please could we have a police officer to just walk the streets in my area of Potter Street on a regular basis. Spending a hour here or there is just for show on the basis of politicians turning up on election day never to be spotted again.
What’s with the picture outside of the police station? Everyone knows that’s always closed now.
Walk the beat? Have travelled back to the 70s when we had bobbies on the beat and not in cars?
Inspector Archer doesn't look too pleased to be having her picture taken. I hope she cracks a smile when meeting the public.
What a shame that ‘walk the beat’ used to be a major part of the job description for a police officer, and now it’s just a PR exercise. Also, these walks are only 60-90 minutes long, so I’m not sure how much of the wards Inspector Archer will actually see. Maybe a whole shift might be more convincing?
