MATCHING Green win the Broadmans Davies Cup in beating Takeley and do the treble for the second time within three years

Riz Akram was man of the match after scoring 74 runs.

The opening pair of Akram and Ward took Takeley’s opening attack after the opening partnership put a 100 in the 1st 10 overs.

This set up a brilliant platform for the Matching batsman to come in and continue the onslaught.

Olly and Jason played very well added a strong partnership with Dan Sibley 45 not out putting on a strong total of 195 in their 20 overs.

Matching’s bowling attack was just too much for Takeley to take on with Shahrukh & Usman opening spell did not allow Takeley to get to get away.
