A HARLOW man has pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual harm prevention order.
Leo Cleary, aged 43, of Bishopsfield, Harlow pleaded guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court to the following.
Between July 16th 2024 and November 4th 2024 at Harlow, without reasonable excuse, did something, namely, deleted internet history on his WhatsApp and Google browser, which you were prohibited from doing by a sexual harm prevention order made under section 103 Aof the Sexual Offences Act 2003 by Chelmsford Crown Court on 28th February 2017.
Women and children aren't safe with men like him around in our community. Waiting for the protests to take place outside his house this weekend. Its going to happen? Right??
@Mikel: Why are you waiting for others to protest about sex offenders? You clearly express your strong opposition to these offenders, so why are you relying on others to protest?
Mark Gobell I think the point the above poster was making is about how outrage only seems to occur outside hotels when it comes to “protecting women and children”, but where’s that same fury when a local man is charged with rape, grooming, sexual assault etc? These cases happen every single day in this country. It seems to be less about protecting victims and more about scapegoating. If the concern was truly about women’s safety the energy would be directed at all perpetrators, not selectively weaponised.
Gary Abbots - 100% what I meant. Thank you for explaining it much clearly than I ever could. Sadly I fear that people like those protesting outside hotels are only concerned when the perpetrator is non-white and non-British.
