Harlow man set to stand trial over possession of images of child abuse and numerous breaches of sexual harm orders

A HARLOW man is set to stand trial over alleged possession of indecent images of child abuse as well as several breaches of sexual harm orders.

Adam Evans, aged 50, of Jerounds, Harlow was charged with the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

Between September 3rd and 4th, 2025 at Harlow made indecent pseudo-photographs, namely 7 Category A images of a child.

Between September 3rd and 4th 2025 made an indecent pseudo-photograph, namely Category B image of a child.

Between September 3rd and 4th, 2025 at Harlow made indecent pseudo-photographs, namely 4 Category C images of a child.

Between November 28th 2024 and September 7th, 2025 at Harlow you were in possession of a prohibited image of a child.

Between 28/11/2024 and  07/09/2025 at Harlow, without reasonable excuse, did something, namely, deleted 163 application from your mobile phone without the written permission of the Chief Constable or one of his designated Investigation Officers, which you were prohibited from doing by a sexual harm prevention order made under section 103 Ao f the Sexual Offences Act 2003 by Basildon Crown Court on 14th November 2023.

Between 28/11/2024 and  07/09/2025 at Harlow, being a relevant offender within the terms of section 80 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the notification requirements as provided by Part 2 of that Act in that failed to notify an online alias.

Between 28/11/2024 and  07/09/2025 at Harlow, without reasonable excuse, did something, namely, deleted text messages from your device, which you were prohibited from doing by a sexual harm prevention order made under section 103 A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 by Basildon Crown Court on 14th November 2023.

Between 28/11/2024 and 07/09/2025 at Harlow, without reasonable excuse, did something, namely, factory reset a mobile phone therefore deleting all data from the device, which you were prohibited from doing by a sexual harm prevention order made under section 103 A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 by Basildon Crown Court on 14th November 2023.

Between 28/11/2024 and  07/09/2025 at Harlow, without reasonable excuse, failed to do something, namely notify MOSOVO of the acquisition of a mobile phone that can connect to the internet, which was a thing that you were required to do by a sexual harm prevention order made under section 103 A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 by Basildon Crown Court on 14th November 2023

Evans has been remanded in custody.

A trial date of October 6th has been set.

Regardless or race, colour or creed & regardless of nationality. Those that have a sick perversion towards children should feel the full force of the law to protect our children from these sick & perverted individuals. Unfortunately our justice system is out of date and far too often the punishment is too lenient.
