Education: Secondary / Thu 18th Sep 2025 at 07:22am
ON Wednesday the 10th of September, Harlow Creates were joined at Harlow Playhouse by 24 young Cultural Explorers.
All of these wonderful young people have successfully visited all six cultural places in their Cultural Passport booklets, collected their stamps, and taken part in some fun and free creative activities.

They gathered with friends, family, and venue staff to celebrate a wonderful summer of culture and creativity!
Vice Chair of Harlow Council, Councillor Sue Livings, was on hand to award crafty prizes to the Explorers and certificates of recognition to the staff and volunteers at cultural venues who made the Cultural Explorers programme possible this summer.
Venues taking part this year were; Harlow Museum, Parndon Mill Gallery, Harlow Art Trust at the Gibberd Gallery, Harlow Town Park & Pets’ Corner, Harlow Libraries and Harlow Playhouse.
Over 3,000 Cultural Passports have been handed out to children aged 4-11yrs this summer, inviting them to explore the cultural delights the town has to offer.
Wednesday’s prizegiving celebrated those who have completed every part of the Cultural Explorers challenge.
We look forward to a bigger and better Cultural Explorers challenge next year!
Well done kids.
