ST Mark’s West Essex Catholic Schools’ Year 9 Girl’s team impressed in their first game of the season.

The girls played very well in what was a tight game against a much more experienced Great Baddow team

A school spokesperson said: “Hats off to the girls for showing great resilience and staying united as a team throughout.

Special mentions go to our two goalscorers Sasha and Mimi.

The player of the match was Maddie, who was outstanding as a central defensive midfielder

and our excellent referee Jayden”.
