ESSEX Police are investigating reports of a machete fight in broad daylight in Harlow.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called to Second Avenue, Harlow, shortly after 12.15pm on Tuesday 30 September following reports of a fight involving three males.

“It was reported that the men may have been in possession of knives.
“Despite officers being on scene within five minutes and conducting an area search, no one was located.
“We are keeping an open mind if it is linked to any other incident”.
Drug related no doubt. I'm surprised no one has asked what is the ethnicity of the three males? Usually, anything to do with a Muslim man spurs the police and mainstream media into action broadcasting their ethnicity. When white folks are involved it all goes quiet. So, it's only fair Essex Police, let's have an ethnicity statement.
I agree with you David. If the police are asking the public for help then you have a better chance of people coming forward if the full description of those who might have been involved, is given by the police. There is one caveat however David. Harlow's drug problem is often linked to county lines drug gangs and many of those gangs are from London where the ethnic representation is far different than that of Harlow. Harlow police's lack of information gives the impression of Coulters Law. If Harlow police genuinely want the publics help then it needs to be prompt and accurate with information to aid members of the public in a speedy fashion. If you don't release the full information to the public then those who might be able to help, lose that memory with time.
There's actual film of the fight on social media filmed by a passing motorist
Alex - got a link to the film
It happened rightvin front of me, white males.
Shamus, They had balaclavas and hoodies on, it would have been impossible to give an accurate description.
