HUNDREDS of prospective parents and pupils flocked to the St Mark’s West Essex Catholic School open evening.

Headteacher John Taylor addressed the packed assembly hall on two occasions over the evening.

He was joined by Head Boy, Ben Casey and Head Girl, Una Botchioay-Adjei.

Afterwards, they were able to see the school in action.

There was also a display of the planned new building.

The Tripton Road school is set to get a complete re-build. Work began in the summer, with part of the build set to open in October 2026 and fully completed by 2028.
