Harlow man admits to assault and driving offences following police pursuit

A MAN has been convicted of a series of offences after a van was stopped by officers between Loughton and Abridge on Tuesday 14 October.
Nikolas Barnes, 24, of no current fixed abode in Harlow, appeared in Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 16 October after being charged with failing to provide a specimen, driving without insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, dangerous driving and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
He admitted all offences and was released by the court on conditional bail ahead of a sentencing hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court in the week commencing 17 November.
