PFCC Essex annual precept survey now live!

THE Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex is inviting all residents, businesses and people who study or travel in Essex to share their views on future funding for Essex Police and Essex County Fire & Rescue Service for the 2026/27 financial year.
Your feedback will help shape future investment in community safety, crime prevention, and emergency response across Essex.
The annual PFCC Precept Survey 2026/27 takes about four minutes to complete and is now live: Essex PFCC Funding for Policing and Fire & Rescue Services 2026/27
The deadline for responses is Monday, 17th November 2025, with a possible two-week extension. Results will inform discussions at the Police, Fire and Crime Panel meeting on Thursday, 4th December 2025.

Interesting there is never an option for a decrease, I would rather we abolished the precept entirely. A common trick to appear to give you a choice but only one which works in their favour.
