HARLOW parkrun celebrated its eleventh birthday on Saturday.

The first 5k run around the park was held on November 8th, 2014.

Since then over 11,000 individual runners have “enjoyed” the journey around the Harlow Town Park.

On Saturday, the team recognised the work of the volunteers who give up their time on a Saturday morning to make it happen.

From those who set up the course at 7am to the marshals who stand at strategic places to ensure everyone gets around safely.

Well done to Race Director Lee Webber and his team for all they do.
