Harlow woman set to stand trial over racially aggravated assault

A HARLOW woman is set to stand trial over an allegation of racially aggravated assault.
Layla Mays, aged 20, of Little Brays, Harlow was charged with the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On May 21st, 2025, at Harlow assaulted by beating another and the offence was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
The next hearing is set for December 9th, 2025
Mays has been released on conditional bail.
