THE number of flu patients in hospital has hit a record high in England for this time of year with NHS leaders warning the county is facing an unprecedented flu season reports the BBC.

NHS figures show there were an average of 1,700 patients in hospital with flu last week – that is more than 50% higher than the same time last year – and early indications from this week are that hospitalisations have continued climbing sharply since.

What do you expect when the whole town is bursting at the seams will masses of elderly people with complex conditions, like me for instance,..mass immigration ..1 hospital .
No offence Brian but to blame the hospital being over run by mass immigration is embarrassing..it's a breakdown in the system, harder to get a doctors appointment ect ect. the main reason is the shutting of Stortford , epping and other A &E services. Its actually the over seas people working in the hospital looking to help the situation.. Try not to fall into the group of blaming immigrants for everything it's rather silly...people need to stay in bed.stay hydrated, , take medicine, stay warm..going to a&e for colds and flu, is a waste of time.
Nobody uses their brains anymore, just blame immigration on everything.
Nhs bosses say this every year but every year it seems to catch out the very same bosses.
