Harlow man pleads guilty to drug driving on Southern Way

A HARLOW man has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs.

Martin Venables, aged 44, of Great Brays, Harlow made the plea to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On April 29th, 2025, on Southern Way, Harlow drove a VW Fox when the proportion of a controlled drug, Benzoylecgonine, in your blood, not less than 240 micrograms of drug per litre of blood, exceeded the specified limit.

He also pled guilty to driving without insurance.

Venables was disqualified for three years and ordered to undertake 50 hours of community work.
