A FORMER St Mark’s student has made history by scoring in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Ryan McAidoo, who is aged just seventeen, was making his debut for Manchester City in their Third Round FA Cup tie against Exeter City.
City ended up 10-1 winners, with Ryan scoring the ninth goal.

After he scored, he was able to celebrate with his family, who had made the long journey north to be there.
Ryan went to St Luke’s Catholic Primary and then went on to St Mark’s West Essex Catholic School.
His parents are Kwame and Freda. They are part of the close knit Ghanaian community in the town, who we know are very proud of him.

Ryan McAidoo joined City’s Academy in the summer of 2024. And in his first full season, totalled 19 Under-18 Premier League North appearances, scoring 10 goals, to help City win the North title.
We know that everyone associated with both schools are very proud of him.
