Recovered in thirty minutes after car stolen from Milwards

QUICK responding officers have recovered a vehicle within 30 minutes of it being stolen this morning (Sunday 1 February).
A spokesperson said: “We received a call reporting a white BMW had been taken from an address in Milwards shortly before 6.20am.

Our officers were able to track the vehicle and located in the Crooked Mile area of Waltham Abbey less than 30 minutes later.
The vehicle is now being returned to its owner.
It was reported two men or boys, described as black and one wearing a white hooded top, were seeing making off from the vehicle.
“We are investigating the theft of the vehicle and these enquiries are ongoing”.

Sergeant Luke Edmonds said: “We know the impact having your car stolen has and we know how important it is to get it back.
“We responded swiftly when we got the call and worked quickly to track the vehicle and locate.
“I am pleased we’ve now been able to reunite it with its owner.
“But our investigation doesn’t stop there and we’re now working to identify and locate the people responsible for taking it so if you have any information which can help our enquiries please get in touch.”
