This is not just one or two this is 100's and once again Essex County Council are putting it up again. Why can't you idiots see people cannot afford it - bloody greed that's what it comes down too. 100's of people are non payers how many others are struggling to find it. Bloody disgusting, I just prey the people making these decisions full on hard times
No taxation without representation
Well said Kevin
Council tax is a disgusting con, legally sanctioned theft to finance vanity projects and to line the pockets of councillors and their cronies. I have been caused major anxiety problems from nfdc for 25 years. Bastards!
Council tax is mandatory. Its paying for all the services the councils provide. If the council doesn't get funding it cannot operate. If it cannot operate, it cannot provide services. The cycle repeats. I cannot see a world where one has the latest phone, tv or games consoles but cannot afford their council tax. Sorry, but everyone pays their way and if they cannot, it is their problem. Too many scroungers claiming they're living in hard times, we all are. We all tightening our belts, just because some cannot manage their finances - shouldnt mean the rest of us should foot the bill.
