Harlow driver disqualified after two “hit and runs” with minutes of each other

A HARLOW driver has been disqualified after two incidents of failing to stop after an accident, within minutes of each other.

Alhagie Leonie, aged 35, of Rundells, Harlow pled guilty to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On June 13th, 2025 at Epping, being the driver of a Vauxhall Mokka owing to the presence of which on a road, Hastingwood roundabout, an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to three other vehicles, you failed to stop.

On June 13th, 2025 at Epping at Harlow being the driver of a Vauxhall Mokka owing to the presence of which on a road namely London Road, an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle, failed to stop.

The first collision occurred at 1548 hrs and the second one at 1552 hrs.

On June 13th, 2025 at Epping, drove a Vauxhall Mokka, on a road, namely Hastingwood Roundabout without due care and attention.

On June 13th, 2025 at Epping, drive said vehicle without any insurance.

Leonie was disqualified for nine months; fined £244.00 and required to undertake 200 hours of unpaid work.

Only 9 months for 2 hit and runs. He should be banned for at least 5 years.

Thank god he’s off the road. I agree with Eddie, he should have been banned for at least 5 years. What is wrong with the judiciary in this country?
