Police appeal after multi-vehicle collision on M11 leaves person with serious injuries

OFFICERS investigating a collision on the M11 yesterday evening (Thursday 5 March) are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.

A spokesperson said: “We were called to a three-vehicle collision on the northbound carriageway of the motorway between junction 8 (Stansted) and junction 9 (Saffron Walden/Cambridge) at just before 8pm.
Two cars and a lorry were in collision, with the lorry leaving the carriageway during the incident.
Emergency services worked at the scene and four people were taken to hospital, with one person being described as having serious injuries.

Motorway driving should be so simple. Perhaps we need stiff penalties for poor driving. Start off with anyone suspected by Police as being a contributor to an accident being banned from driving immediately
It's down to speeding travelling too close and lane hogging, when everyone's travelling in the same direction accidents shouldn't be happening!!!!
