Easter Mini Beer Festival

Thursday 2^nd to Monday 6^th April

Welcome to our first Beer Festival.

We have decided to launch our first Beer Fest by showcasing two of our favorite Breweries: Hammerton’s from Islington and Redwell from Norfolk. My last pub was in Islington which my family and I ran for 25 years. Lee Hammerton and his wife Katrina, started their Brewery next door to Pentonville Prison in 2014 and have gone from strenght to strength with ward winning sustainable brews. They do many interesting craft brews but we love the fact that they keep true to their core cask ales.

The Redwell Brewery is a short walking distance from Fortress Carrow Rd in Norwich, Norfolk. Tucked away under railway arches these guys are Insprational with their Brewing. Their whole extensive range is Vegan and Gluten free and we are really excited to introduce you to some of their Classic brews.

About as much rubbish is written on tasting notes at Beer festivals as on Arsenal’s chances of a title win. The fact is that they are as individual as you are and do we have some quirky and unique brews for you !

Every Beer Festival needs a theme and this one is no exception:

“Drink out of your comfort zone!”

If you are a dyed in the wool fizzy lager drinker addicted to foreign brews from Burton on Trent, then try our N1 or East Coast IPA. If you are a bearded, sandle wearing, card carrying beer ticker, then try our Steam Lager or Norwich Pilsner. A Loyal Guinness drinker? Then we have plenty of treats for you including the Lusty Newton Stout. Of course, the best thing to do is to try them all! Tasting glasses available.

Easter Eggs are for kids! We have resurrected the Limited Edition “Crunch” Milk Stout. This is for drinkers who hate Easter, Stout, Chocolate, Peanut Butter, their neighbours, their jobs and what they have done with their lives. We have a brew for everyone, but remember, when the Ales are gone, they are gone, so get involved early! Tasting Notes over.
