DUE to the regeneration and construction work in Playhouse Square, 9 disabled parking spaces outside The Playhouse are no longer available. However, 14 new free disabled parking spaces have been created providing direct access to main town centre locations.

The new spaces are at:

•  North Gate – 4 additional spaces

•  West Gate – 6 additional spaces

•  South Gate – 4 additional spaces

With these changes, disabled parking provision across the town centre is available at the following locations:

•  West Gate – 27 free disabled parking bays

•  Wych Elm car park – 7 free disabled parking bays

•  North Gate – 4 free disabled parking bays

•  South Gate – 4 free disabled parking bays

•  Harvey Centre multi-storey car park – 25 disabled parking bays (15 minutes’ free parking for short stays)

•  Water Gardens car park – 62 disabled parking bays (15 minutes’ free parking for short stays)

•  Terminus Street multi-storey car park – 15 disabled parking bays (15 minutes’ free parking for short stays)
