Arson investigation after huge fire at derelict house on Third Avenue in Harlow

ESSEX firefighters were called to a fire in a large derelict house on Third Avenue in Harlow last night (Sunday).
Thirty five firefighters attended the incident to help tackle the fire which was very well developed upon arrival.
The property is off Third Avenue close to the cycle track and the former Passmores House.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire by 1:30am.
Two crews remained at the scene overnight to fully extinguish hotspots.
Third Avenue runs between The Water Gardens and Katherines Way.
A fire investigation will be carried out today.

This was my old house!! I hope who ever did this burns in hell for what they have done! Can’t wait till these idiots get arrested! Being an EX investigator the people will get found easily and I hope to god they get what’s coming to them! Do the right thing * your Harlow * and name and shame the low life’s so they can get the right treatment! Because I know for a fact they will get what’s coming to them!!

Already reported this but I saw about 5 people run for the road going towards the house. And ive took pictures off 3 of them. Two where wearing masks so the idiots will be arrested

I lived in Northbrook from1952 to 1995 that was a great old house that is a real shame it´s burnt down

Hasn't there been a number of other fires involving derelict buildings in Harlow over the last few years? What's going on and whats the general opinion on what's behind these fires? Kids with nothing better to do? Adults with nothing better to do? Or, and maybe I am being cynical here, has it got to do with land redevelopment??

I've seen someone putting cameras up down the road from the house so hopefully any more idiots that want to destroy this house will get caught and arrested. You're being watched. I know who the people are who set fire to the house. Lets just say the police are aware and your be getting what you deserve.

So I’ve just took a walk and saw yet more fire damage this time to the outer shed. I’ll now be watching over the house as I live near Toddbrook bets so I’ll be down here every night with family to keep check. If we see anyone including children you’re be arrested on the spot. You’ve been warned

We’ve also spoke to Harlow council about blocking the house off with walls all round the site and 24/7 security. Work will be commencing this Monday.

Just be aware children I saw another fire near the building last night. We called the fire brigade. If this was the house or area around the house we would off caught you and then there would off been trouble

Turns out Taylor that the fire you saw was on the land off the gables. So I'll be there again for the next week staying over night and this time we won't be as friendly. Again police will be on site to help us if we find these idiots. Well come to come and join us again?

Another fire in the area and I managed to get pictures off the people with night vision cameras on the drive up to the house. This time you idiots will not be getting away as your faces are clear to see. Enjoy jail because that's where you're going! :)
