Man charged with assault and using violence to gain entry

A HARLOW man has been charged with two crimes of violence.
Darrell Smith, aged 39 of Ram Gorse, Harlow was charged with the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.
On April 24th ,2026 assaulted a woman by beating her.
On April 24th ,2026, without lawful authority, used violence for the purpose of securing entry into premises, Netteswell Orchard, knowing that there was someone present on those premises who was opposed to the said entry.
Smith was remanded on conditional bail.
His next appearance is scheduled for June 7th, 2026.

A man who beats a woman is a coward and scumbag. Lets hope he gets a long sentence, i have doubt though!

Yes totally agree he's more than a coward when beating women up maybe he would like to be smacked - punched around that goes for all men who do this, but then again women do this to men they are just as bad but men don't say anything when they should . They are as bad as each other & obviously have bad anger issues for it to even get to that point of lashing out.
