Harlow Labour leader reflects on a disappointing night for the party

HARLOW Labour lost the five seats they were defending.
They are now down to ten seats in the council.

YH spoke to council leader, James Griggs after the results had been declared.
Very little imput from Labour this year, no leaflet or door knock. I guess wasn't worth the effort?
Normally I would be a Labour voter but last night voted Tories, first time in my life, to keep reform out as much as wanting to see if Dan carries on.
The Labour Party's campaign was non-existent. Not even a leaflet in Summers and Kingsmoor ward. The worst Labour campaign in 35 years. Time for James Griggs to resign as leader.
Dear James Griggs, I would use a word considerably stronger than "visceral" to describe my anger and disappointment with Sir Keir Starmer and Chris Vince.
