A HARLOW man has been charged with fraud and theft of a petrol card.

Ryan Ricketts, aged 40, of Nuthatch Drive, Newhall, Harlow appeared at Chelmsford magistrates court charged with the following.

On September 16th, 2025, stole a fuel card, belonging to The Village Bakery, Hatfield Heath.

Between September 16th, 2025 and December 10th, 2025 at Harlow, committed fraud in that you dishonestly made a false representation, namely using a stolen fuel card , intending to make a gain, namely to pay for £1828.16 of fuel , for yourself.

Ricketts was remanded on conditional bail.

The next scheduled appearance is June 1st, 2027.
