Harlow man pleads guilty to breaching sexual harm prevention order

A HARLOW man has pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual harm prevention order.

Antonio Martena, aged 69, of Canons Brook, Harlow appeared at Chelmsford magistrates court in relation to the following.

On April 16th, 2025 at Harlow, being a relevant offender within the terms of section 80 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the notification requirements as provided by Part 2 of that Act in that you have not provided online aliases as required.

On April 16th, 2025 at Harlow, without reasonable excuse, did something, namely, deleted your internet history, which you were prohibited from doing by a sexual harm prevention order made under section 103A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 by Chelmsford Crown Court on 2nd September 2021.

Martena was ordered to pay costs of £240.00

He was issued with a custodial sentence which has been suspended for twelve months because of health issues in relation to himself and wife.
