IT was a busy weekend for Harlow’s heritage as a number of places opened their doors to the public.

YH went down to the Harlow Museum where Daniel Robinsons had sponsored a photo exhibition run by a popular Facebook site “Photos of Harlow Old and New”.

On Sunday, we went down to St John’s Arc in Old Harlow where a number of heritage organisations were present.

Local historian, David Devine made a series of presentations; the Essex Family History Society were on hand to discuss ancestry matters.

It was good to see, in this auspicious year, so much heritage being celebrated.
