THE chief executive of Harlow Council was awarded with a Civic Honour by the chair of the council on Thursday night.

Malcolm Morley OBE was presiding over his last council meeting before he retires in October.

Chair of Harlow Council, cllr Sue Livings presented him with the award.

All the leaders of the political groups paid tribute to the council chief who is credited with bringing many of the “big ticket” projects to Harlow.
