ON Saturday 10 March 2018 Harlow youth councillors planted an impressive 450 trees as part of ongoing improvements at Oakwood Pond.
The historic parkland and pond (at the back of Upper Park) started to be restored last year with volunteers and Council staff working together to complete a number of improvements.
The trees have been planted closely together to create a hedgerow around the site.
It’s great to see Harlow’s young people getting involved and helping to improve the environment for future generations.
