Harlow Carnival: Local road closures on Sunday

News / Sat 29th Jun 2019 at 12:52pm

Local road disruption tomorrow

There is going to be some disruption to roads tomorrow (Sunday 30 June) as the carnival is coming back to town.

Harlow Council is sorry for the disruption, but this is essential for ensuring that those taking part in the parade and those watching are safe.

Roads on the carnival route will be temporarily closed and local diversions will be in place.

The Council says it will work to get the roads reopened as soon as it’s safe to do so.

===================

Are you travelling to and from the Town Centre by bus tomorrow?

The bus station will be temporarily closed on Sunday from 12noon to 3pm while the Harlow Carnival takes its journey to the Market Square. However, buses will still be running to and from a temporary station at Haydens Road. This will be to the rear of the Harvey Centre multi-story car park near the Playhouse. The bus station will reopen at 3pm.

Harlow Council is sorry for any inconvenience this may cause residents.
