ESSEX Police has have secured sexual assault charges against a 49-year-old Chigwell man.

The offences relate to incidents between April 2024 and November 2025 in the Chigwell, Epping, Loughton, Harlow and Romford areas.

British national Jagpal Singh, of Brook Way, who is also known as Jaggy, is charged with nine counts of sexual assault of a female aged 13 and over.

He is also charged with one count of possessing an offensive weapon.

He will now appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on 15 July.

Detective Constable Sean Sheppard said:
“We are continuing to build this case.
“Anyone with any information that has not spoken to us already should get in touch quoting case number 42/MR/12073/26.”
