THE COCK pub in Harlow is set to hold a charity day in Saturday August 3rd in support of mental health group Men’s Shed.

The pub, based at Paycock Road is holding the day as a tribute to former local Dan Hart, who died last year.

A spokesperson said: “To mark a year since we lost Dan, The Cock Inn are holding a charity fun day to raise funds for The Harlow Community Shed, a charity which runs support, advice and workshops for people suffering from depression or just isolation.

“On the day we will have food, face painting, lots of fun and games and a disco during the day and open mic night in the evening, with more things to be confirmed

“We are looking for any donations that people could possibly give raffle prizes, any one wanting to have a stall that people would like to sell from, bouncy castles, or any one prepared to provide some entertainment for the day.
