OUR favourite event, the Summer Festival, returns to Audley End Miniature Railway this summer! Jam-packed with activities and entertainment for all the family, this spectacular summer-long festival offers everything to ensure a day full of
excitement and wonder for children and adults alike.

YH sent their three intrepid reporters, Millie, Maddie and Charlie down the M11 to experience the Audley End Miniature Railway.

They all agreed that the railway was really great fun but there was also so much more to do.

Charlie loved seeing the teddy bear hard at work. Maddie was very excited to see a unicorn.

Millie said: “It was just a lovely day. Lots of space and time to enjoy everything. It is the summer holiday but you also learned quite a lot.”

The family also enjoyed the love surroundings of the picnic area.

Our group consisted of three generations and it just goes to show that people of all ages can enjoy the Audley End Minature Railway.

In addition to the enchanting train ride through the Audley End Estate on our beautiful miniature steam railway, the summer months see the resident fairy and elves welcoming visitors to their charming woodland homes. Wander in awe through the magical groves and look out for the delightful fairy and elf homes hiding amongst the trees with our I Spy booklet.

Back at the picnic area, the fields will be adorned with beautifully decorated bell tents offering an array of activities led by our resident magical characters. You little one can get into character with colourful face painting, or roll up their sleeves and unleash their creativity in our crafting tent.

And if all that still leaves you wanting, there are plenty of fun activities to get involved with in our Games area. The Summer Festival runs everyday from the 20th July to 8th September 2019.
