HARLOW Jewish Community organised a free lunch for this year’s Mitzvah Day. They joined the Harlow Ethnic Minority Umbrella with other faith groups including the Harlow Islamic Centre to serve the food at St Paul’s Church in Harlow to anyone that needed it.

Lunch consisted of a delicious soup, sandwiches, curry and cake.

Harlow Jewish Community chairman Alan Cohen said: “The recipients very much enjoyed the lunch and after such a successful day, the community groups involved are looking forward to repeating it next year.”
