Community enjoy festive cheer at Christmas carol service with local hospital

THE community celebrated the festive season with the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) team at the annual Christmas carol service on Tuesday (17 December).

More than 120 people gathered at St Paul’s Church, Harlow, for the service. It featured readings by healthcare staff and local people; carol singing led by the St Paul’s Church organist and the PAHT choir (pictured); and singing by pupils from Henry Moore Primary School and The Downs Primary School in Harlow.

Guests then enjoyed mince pies and mulled wine together at the close of the service.

Reverend Christian Okeke, lead chaplain at The Princess Alexandra Hospital said: “It was wonderful to see so many people at the service, joining together to celebrate the festive season.

“Thank you to everyone who came along and gave their thanks on this very special occasion for our hospital and community.”
