Harlow man jailed for three years for child sex offences

A MAN from Harlow has been jailed for three years after pleading guilty to child sex offences.
Adam Evans, 45 of Rectory Wood, was arrested on Thursday 6 June 2019, after engaging in conversations of a sexual nature with a girl he believed to be 13-years-old.
He was subsequently charged and appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court on Tuesday 7 April by video link having admitted to attempting to cause or incite a child to engage in sexual activity, arranging or facilitating the commission of sexual activity with a child and breaching a sexual harm prevention order.
He was sentenced to 36 months in prison and continues to have a lifelong sexual harm prevention order.
