Harlow man in court over assault and theft

A HARLOW man has “appeared” in court over allegations of theft and assault.
Adrian Jones, aged 53, of Moorfield has been charged with the following.
1. On 16/08/2019 at Harlow assaulted another.
2. On 16/08/2019 at Harlow without lawful excuse, destroyed two window panes to the value of £1000 belonging to Nisa Shop, Sherrads Hatch, Harlow intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.
3. On 14/08/2019 at Harlow stole bedding, to the value of £300, belonging to Homesense in The Queensgate Centre.
Jones has been remanded on conditional bail until May 15th at Colchester Magistrates Court.
Conditions: Exclusion: not to enter Nisa Shop, Sherrards Hatch, Harlow or Homesense, Queensgate, Harlow.
Adjournment reason: “In order to comply with government guidelines on social distancing we are postponing all non-urgent work.
