Two men with hearts of gold hand over cheque for £2,000 to PAH

TWO MEN who started a fundraising campaign after a Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) employee had his bicycle stolen have anded over a cheque for over £2,000 to hospital staff.

As reported, Gary Cruse and Tony Pite started fundraising after Steve Walker discovered his bike was stolen after finishing his shift at PAH.

Gary and Tony told staff, as they handed over the cheque, that they just wanted to know how much they appreciated them.

Steve Walker said: “I’d like to thank Gary and Tony for starting the donation page, to everyone who donated and to all the kind messages I received.

“PAH would like to thank you for the cheque and the continued support. It means everything and makes our job so worthwhile.

“It shows we’re all in this together. Thank you all again.”
