ON MONDAY, a short service was held outside the Civic Centre to mark the start of Armed Forces Week.

The week is an opportunity to recognise the dedication and sacrifice of the entire Armed Forces community, including serving personnel, veterans, service families and cadets.

As a town, we are proud of the contribution they make to our country and our communities. Thank you for your service.
