TWO Harlow women are set to take on a marathon hike for charity.
Hayley Adams and Amy Weekes will be travelling to the Lake District.
Hayley said: “This week, Amy and I will be taking on a marathon hike in the Lake District on Saturday 27th June to raise money for Cancer Research – a cause that is incredibly close to both of our hearts.

The support we’ve received so far has honestly been amazing. Thanks to the generosity of our friends, family and local community, we’ve already raised an incredible £2,549 – with £825 donated through our JustGiving page and a further £1,724 raised offline.
Our goal is to reach £3,000, and we’re now just £451 away.
Cancer affects so many of us. Most people know someone who has been diagnosed, is currently undergoing treatment, or has sadly lost their battle. We’ve experienced the impact it can have ourselves, which is why we’re determined to do our bit and raise as much as we possibly can.
“We know times are tough for many people at the moment, but if you’re able to support us in any way, no matter how small, we would be incredibly grateful. Every single penny really does make a difference and brings us one step closer to our goal.
“Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared our fundraiser, and supported us so far. Your kindness means the world to us, and it’s giving us the motivation we need to tackle this challenge next week!
Please help us make that final push to £3,000.
