DETECTIVES are appealing for information following reports of an assault in Harlow.

A woman reported that she had been attacked near a brook behind Hookfield, just off of the cycle path, at around 10.30am on Friday 15 May.

The victim, a woman aged in her 40s, is being supported by our officers.

We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, and would like to speak to a woman who may have interacted with the victim and asked her if she was ok.
