Man pleads guilty to brandishing knife in Orchard Croft

A MAN has pleaded guilty to having a knife in a public place following an incident in Harlow last week.
The police received a call at around 10.55pm on Monday 18 May reporting a man had been seen with a knife and making threats in Orchard Croft.
Officers were at the scene around five minutes later and a 30 year-old man was arrested a short time later.
Matthew Taylor, of Spinning Wheel Mead, Harlow was charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
At Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 20 May he pleaded guilty.
He is due to be sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court on 17 June.
