CHANGING Lives have opened up a new community hub in the town centre.

The hub is just at the entrance to the Harvey Centre.

A spokesperson said: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our new Community Hub in Harlow. Yes you heard that correctly! Opening! Something you don’t often hear about!

“Due to the new government guidelines enabling providers to support young children, vulnerable and key workers, we have now started to take bookings for our Community Hub open seven days a week!

“We are also supporting those children who need educational booster classes. We are also running well-being and Mental Health workshops as well as our Gang Intervention Programme.

“Despite only getting the keys 3 weeks ago we have turned a derelict shop into a vibrant and much needed Community Hub with the help and support of the Harlow people coming together!

This is somewhere for young people to go, socialise, get active and have fun!
